Facilities and Equipment | Digital Retinal Photography - Used instead of dilation, Digital Retinal Photographs give us a magnified digital image of the back of the retina! Instead of relying on hand written notes, we have a great, 10 mega-pixel, digital image to compare from year to year to keep track of eye health conditions, such as macular degeneration, retinal scars, diabetic retinal disease, hypertension, retinal hemorrhages and optic nerve disease, as well as other conditions.
*Auto-Refractor - This instrument is used to aid in determining your prescription and taking certain eye measurements.
*Tonometer - This is one of the four tests that our doctors do annually to screen for glaucoma. The tonometer uses a gentle puff of air to measure the pressure in the eye.
*Visual Fields- Another of the four tests that Dr. Schober and Dr. Bauer recommend annually to help screen for glaucoma. The visual field instrument also screens for strokes, retinal detachment and brain tumors, among other eye health conditions.
*Frames- Hundreds of top quality designer frames including COACH, Maui Jim, Pro Design, Birka, Bellagio, Armani, Silhouette, Revolution, and more!
*Contact Lenses - Literally thousands of contacts, including bifocals, to correct virtually any prescription.
